Key Responsibilities
- Reconcile all bank accounts each month, resolve variances, record routine activity, and keep documentation clear and audit‑ready.
- Process payroll accurately, review changes, reconcile payroll to the general ledger, handle remittances, and support year‑end requirements.
- Process flow‑through payments to insurers and third parties, clear related balances, investigate discrepancies, and maintain supporting documentation.
- Record and apply EFT receipts, match receipts to expected amounts, investigate exceptions, and keep supporting records organized.
- Reconcile credit card activity and settlements, resolve timing issues, maintain clearing accounts, and recommend improvements where needed.
- Cross‑train on key Finance workflows, provide backup support for Billing, CPU Admin, and AP, and help strengthen processes and documentation.
- Take part in team meetings, collaborate on issue resolution, maintain the Renewal Tracker, prepare monthly renewal‑related reporting, and ensure the financial data behind that reporting is accurate and reliable.
Qualifications
- Experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or financial operations.
- Solid accounting fundamentals.
- Solid understanding of reconciliations, payroll, and financial controls.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Comfortable with accounting systems, Excel, and digital workflows.
